We are probably coming to the last series of our video tour: Share your project. We are here, hoping you get what you need after finishing all the series of our video tour.
When you finish your iMovie project, you need to export the project into other file formats in order to watch and share with your friends and family.
You can publish your movies directly to YouTube or a .Mac account from Share menu, send it to iTunes and sync it with your iPod or iPhone, or send your movie to Apple TV, then sit back and watch it on your widescreen TV, besides, you can also burn your movie to a DVD by choosing iDVD from the Share menu and then create a full featured DVD.
These are usually the most common way to share your movies, which can be seen in the following video:
Note: The video source is from www.ehow.com.
There are also other ways to share your movies: such as: export to a DV tape (you can save your finished movie on a DV tape in raw digital video format); export to QuickTime formats; send it in an Email message, transfer it to your iDisk where you can use HomePage to publish it on the Internet, or you can also use Bluetooth technology to transfer your movies wirelessly to other computers, mobile phones, personal digital assistants, and more.

Unbelievable, I'm new to Mac and iMovie and immediately discovered the dilemma of importing DVDs. This solution is clear and seems to have worked wonderfully...
I did try the product, ripped many dvds and was quite happy with the result and the easy way it works. I would recommend it to you.
This was the clearest and simplest direction and it worked like a charm. I have now successfully imported my sons birth and first year from old tape to DVD to iMovie. Never thought I would find the answer so easy (well to you it was easy).
Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you! I've spent all day trying to get a home made dvd into imovie. Your solution was simple and perfect for moving my dvd content back into my mac without loss of quality.
